Kasey is an adventurer, storyteller, and design entrepreneur helping shape how people experience the digital world around them. His intuitive eye for core experience and passion for great design result in truly engaging interactions. Being a successful Product Designer, Kasey balances user needs with business goals to deliver highly impactful, digital solutions and experiences across a variety of platforms and services. Prior to the pandemic, Kasey was the Co-Founder and event coordinator of DC's fastest growing creative group, District Creatives. With gaining 3,000+ members over a couple years, District Creatives boasts a safe, inclusive space for all creative professions including design and UX, architecture, photography, visual art, and beyond. Through events like happy hours, panel talks, workshops, and more, the group fosters creative conversation and community. After a short nomadic sprint, Kasey has now found himself in Austin, Texas. As a relentless community builder he founded one of the newest, and fastest growing tech and design Meetups, Austin Tech & Experience group (ATX). Using his previous Meetup group District Creatives as a boilerplate, ATX boasts a safe and inclusive space for all passionate and creative professionals in tech, UX, art, and so on. In the past Kasey dedicated time to host events and mentor Designers through ADPList, helping UXers sharpen skills, navigate their career, advocate for the user, and slay dragons.
